Power Grid Voltage Stability Monitoring

Abstract:

Grid management ensures voltage stability and resilience upon disturbance. Earlier iterative tools could not provide real-time calculations. RT-VSMAP Engine: Real Time Voltage Stability Monitoring and Prediction allows for more proactive management of electric power systems. This tested technology provides continuous analysis of system topology and measurement inputs, such as synchrophasor data from phasor measurement units (PMUs) and phasor data concentrators (PDCs), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) facilities, and other sensors.
